Christophe Bavière

Christophe Bavaria has been Chairman of the Management Board of Idinvest Partners since 2001. He chairs the Investment Committees and actively manages all investments.

Before joining Idinvest Partners, Christophe Bavière held senior positions within the AGF-Allianz Group, in particular as CIO of Allianz Private Equity Partners and CEO of Allianz Global Investors France. From 1997 he contributed to the development of Private Equity as a separate asset class in diversified portfolios and to the creation of Idinvest Partners (formerly AGF Private Equity). Previously, Christophe worked at the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and at BNP Paribas.

Christophe Bavière is a director of the Association Française de Gestion, AFG. He is also a member of the AMF's Management and Institutional Investors Advisory Committee as well as Colonel of the Air Force Reserve. Previously, Christophe was vice-president of France Invest until 2015, where he was elected director on several occasions.

Christophe Bavaria holds an MBA from the University of OTTAWA (1986) and graduated from ESLSCA. He is also a member of the Institute of French Actuaries (class of 1996 from the Center d'Etudes Actuarielles). In 2007, he was elected “Private Equity Personality of the Year 2006” by Capital de Finance and Les Echos.
