Joshua Sapers is aMechanical and Systems Engineer at IDION, focusing on the development of the iTempshield wearable thermometer for FDA approval. Previously, Joshua was a Manufacturing Engineer at LumiraDx, where contributions included designing the manufacturing process for a consumer at-home COVID testing device. Earlier experience includes a Mechanical Engineer role at DEKA Research & Development, contributing to a next-generation insulin pump, and participation in a senior capstone project at Auris Surgical Robotics, designing a robotic biopsy tool. Joshua's internships span various engineering roles at Barrett Technology, Random Wire Technologies, the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, and early experiences in web development and retail. Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at UNSW.
