Ángel López Fernández

Ángel López Fernández is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in radio frequency and satellite communications. As a Radio Frequency Test Engineer at ST Engineering iDirect since January 2021, Ángel has focused on satellite communications with a solid RF background. Prior experience includes roles as an RF Test Automation Engineer at Keysight Technologies, where Ángel contributed to RF test automation and 5G standards, and as an RF Test Engineer at Newtec, also specializing in satellite communications. Earlier career accomplishments include a position as a Research Engineer at Ericsson, developing algorithms for GSM, UMTS, and LTE, and optimizations for 3D indoor localization as part of a master's thesis at DLR. Ángel holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad de Málaga.
