Mohi Uddin Sabbir

Mohi Uddin Sabbir is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Manager - Green Product Lead in the Sustainable Finance Unit of IDLC Finance PLC since January 2023. In this role, Mohi is responsible for soliciting green and sustainable businesses, educating clients on low-cost funding opportunities, and appraising businesses with a focus on credit and ESG risks. Additionally, responsibilities include administering approval processes for various refinancing schemes, monitoring post-disbursement activities, and communicating with UNEP FI regarding the Net Zero Banking Alliance initiative. Prior experience encompasses roles as a Relationship Manager at CVC Finance Limited and GSP Finance Company, as well as an Assistant Relationship Manager at International Leasing And Financial Services Limited, specializing in corporate relationship banking. Mohi holds a Master’s degree in Bank Management from the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from International Islamic University Chittagong.
