Briggs U.

Briggs U. is a problem-solver and systems expert with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, where they also specialized in Alternative Energy and minored in Business. They completed multiple co-op rotations at Schaeffler, focusing on lean manufacturing, industrial engineering, and corporate sustainability. Currently, Briggs serves as a systems engineer at Idle Smart, a cleantech startup, where they optimize internal processes. Additionally, they engage in side projects aimed at reducing administrative burdens for local small and medium businesses. As a 2023 Fellow with Venture For America, Briggs continues to pursue their passion for building a more sustainable future.
