Cristian Baijet

Cristian Baijet has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Cristian currently works at IDNEO as a Project Manager, leading projects related to Vision/ADAS systems within the Ventures BU. Cristian'sresponsibilities include participating in the RFQ process, coordinating internal resources, developing project scopes and objectives, creating detailed project plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, managing changes in scope and schedule, and measuring project performance.

Before IDNEO, Cristian worked at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing as a Sr. Project Manager & Process Engineer. Cristian was responsible for leading their team to successful product launches and meeting quality, budget, and timing goals. Cristian managed new launches across multiple European sites and dealt with capital needs ranging from 1-10 million Euros.

Prior to AAM, Cristian worked as a Quality Engineer at the same company. In this role, they contributed to significant improvements in key performance indicators and established new processes and tools. Cristian also developed skills in diplomacy, compromise, and relationship-building with customers and suppliers.

Cristian has also worked as a Consulting Engineer at redi-Group España Quality Services, where they served as the SEAT Produkttechnik during the launch of AUDI Q3. Cristian coordinated international suppliers, enforced standards, and helped with new materials and processes homologations.

Earlier in their career, Cristian worked as a Project Engineer at Innovalia Metrology, where they were involved in product development and served as the technical responsible for European Framework Program projects in industrial metrology. Cristian also had technical trainee experience at Robert Bosch and completed an internship at Daimler Chrysler in the Verfahren Entwicklung und Maschinen department.

Cristian Baijet completed their undergraduate studies from 1999 to 2005 at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering. In 2014, they pursued a Master's Degree in Design and Optimization of Industrial Processes from Universitat de Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya. Additionally, Cristian attended the University of Stuttgart, specializing in Maschinenbauingenieur, however, the end year of this program is not provided.
