Lino Wiehen

Lino Wiehen has gained extensive experience in various design roles throughout their career. They have worked as a Design Lead at IDnow since December 2019, being responsible for leading design projects. Prior to this, Lino worked as a UI/UX Designer as a self-employed individual from September 2019 to December 2019. They also served as a Sr Experience Designer at FLUID Design GmbH from November 2018 to March 2019.

In their previous roles, Lino demonstrated strong design skills and expertise. They worked as a Sr UI/UX Designer/Prototyper at Sony Pictures Entertainment from January 2017 to June 2018, where they led the redesign of the Sony Crackle website and designed the Japan PS4 app.

Furthermore, Lino played a crucial role as a Design Lead & Co-Founder at Peq Media llc from January 2014 to July 2016, spearheading design efforts and developing prototypes and wireframes. They also worked as an iPad App Design and UX professional at Belkin from January 2014 to September 2014, contributing to the development and design of the Qode companion app.

Before that, Lino served as a Video Lead Designer at Yahoo from December 2011 to November 2013, where they played a significant role in expanding video content and designing the video player. They also worked as an Art Director at Demand Media from March 2010 to September 2011, redesigning the eHow brand site.

Additionally, Lino's experience includes serving as the Creative Director of MySpace Music from September 2008 to March 2010, leading the creative team and designing unique artist pages. They also worked as a Visual Design Mgr/Art Director at Yahoo! from October 2006 to August 2008.

Lino Wiehen earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design from 1988 to 1992. In 1990, they participated in a furniture design workshop at the Vitra Design Museum. Prior to attending college, Wiehen attended McLean High School from 1984 to 1988. In 2020, they obtained a certification as a Practitioner of Modern Leadership from TAM Akademie GmbH.
