Romain Siegrist

Romain Siegrist is an accomplished professional in the field of medicinal chemistry, currently serving as Associate Director and Principal Scientist at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd since July 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director and Senior Lab Head at Actelion from 2008 to July 2017, where responsibilities included leading medicinal chemistry efforts. Romain Siegrist also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from 2005 to 2007, focusing on the design and synthesis of biological probes related to Avrainvillamide, and held an internship at Roche in 2001. Romain Siegrist obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Dipl. Chem. ETH from ETH Zürich, completing studies in 2005 and 2001, respectively.
