Sean Durkin

Sean Durkin is a Senior Scientific Associate at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd since June 2017, specializing in screening assays for metabolic stability and LC-MS/MS analysis, as well as automation of in vitro assays. His expertise contributes to advancing pre-clinical candidate compounds in therapeutic areas such as sleep disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, including ALS, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s. Previously, Sean held the same position at Actelion, and prior to that, worked at F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG as a Senior Associate in Behavioral Pharmacology, where advanced research in various therapeutic areas was conducted. Sean began his research career as a Student Researcher at Merck Sharp & Dohme. Sean holds a Master of Science in Psychopharmacology of Cognitive Processes from Université de Bordeaux and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from University Bordeaux II.
