Dean Bennett

Dean Bennett has over 20 years of work experience in software development and technical leadership roles. Dean is currently the Head of Software Development for Health, Transport, and CAFM at Idox plc, a position they have held since December 2018. Prior to that, Dean worked at 6PM Solutions, where they served as the Software Development Director from November 2015 to December 2018 and as the Technical Director from January 2018 to December 2018. Before joining 6PM Solutions, Dean worked at 6PM Blithe, where they held various positions including Technical Director, Development and Operations Manager, and Head of Development from 2007 to 2015. Dean began their career at Staffordshire County Council, where they served as a Junior Software Developer, Senior Software Developer, and Technical Lead Developer from 1999 to 2007. Dean has a degree in Computing and Mathematics and is highly skilled in software development, with a strong focus on producing high-quality software.

Dean Bennett obtained a BSc. (Hons) degree in Computing and Applicable Mathematics from Staffordshire University, which they pursued from 1996 to 1999. Dean further pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management at Staffordshire University from 2009 to 2010, specializing in the field of Leadership and Management.
