Chris Costley has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Chris started their career at Saturn Communications (later known as TelstraClear) as a Customer Services Manager before moving on to Unisys as a Service Delivery Manager. At Unisys, they successfully managed the national outsourced IT help desk and played a crucial role in winning and renewing a significant contract with Inland Revenue. Chris then joined Telstra as a Sales and Service Operations Manager, where they excelled in recovering contact center performance and was subsequently promoted to a role in Melbourne. Currently, they hold the position of Director Customer and Operations Digital Transformation at IDP Education Ltd, where they are responsible for digital business enablement, performance improvement, sales growth, cost efficiency, and business transformation. In this role, they also oversee operational support for IDP's global network of offices that cater to international students.

Chris Costley completed an Advancing Negotiation Skills program at Scotwork Negotiating Skills in 2020. In 2017, they pursued Business Architecture studies at Enterprise Architects, and in 2016, they studied Scaled Agile 4.0 at Context Matters. Additionally, Chris earned a degree in Executive General Management from Mt Eliza Business School at the University of Melbourne in 2014, and they also attended the New Zealand Institute of Management in 2003 for Executive Management. Chris plans to pursue an Advanced Strategic Negotiation degree at Scotwork Negotiating Skills in 2022. They have also obtained a certification in Advanced Product Management from RMIT University in 2022.
