Stuart Nickols

Stuart Nickols is an experienced data leadership professional currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at IDP Education Ltd since March 2020. Prior to this role, Stuart was the Head of Data Science at Australia Post from June 2016 to March 2020, where responsibilities included leading data science consultancy and data engineering functions. Stuart's earlier experience includes various positions at IAG from June 2012 to May 2016, encompassing roles such as Acting Head of Business Intelligence and insights management in commercial insurance. Additionally, Stuart worked as a Senior Manager in consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers PwC Australia from September 2008 to June 2012 and in financial services consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers UK from April 2001 to July 2008. Stuart holds a Bachelor’s Degree with joint honors in Physics and Philosophy from the University of Bristol, obtained between 1996 and 1999, and completed secondary education at The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe from 1990 to 1996.
