Vivek Kadambi

Vivek Kadambi has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Vivek is currently serving as the Chief Product Development Officer at IDRx since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as the Senior Vice President of Preclinical Sciences from November 2020 to May 2022. Before joining Vertex Pharmaceuticals, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Quantitative Pharmacology and Drug Safety at Blueprint Medicines from January 2014 to November 2020. Vivek also served as the Vice President of Drug Safety Evaluation at Millennium/Takeda from January 1999 to January 2014.

Vivek Kadambi completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cardiovascular Physiology & Pharmacology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine from 1989 to 1995. Later, they pursued a Post Doctoral degree in Cardiovascular Medicine at the same institution from 1996 to 1998.
