Rafael De Leon, PMP

Rafael De Leon, PMP, has a diverse work experience in the healthcare IT industry. Rafael is currently serving as the Director of Client Services at AbbaDox since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at DataLink Software as the Manager of Implementation from October 2021 to January 2023. In this role, they led a team of Implementation Project Managers and Analysts, ensuring timely and successful delivery of healthcare IT projects within a designated portfolio. Rafael also established strong partnerships with other departments to coordinate activities for client implementations.

Before joining DataLink Software, Rafael had an extensive tenure at AbbaDox. Rafael initially served as a Technical Support Representative from January 2013 to September 2014, providing 24/7 phone and email support to clients and troubleshooting system issues. Rafael then transitioned to the role of an Account Manager from September 2014 to February 2017, supporting business development managers in sourcing and pre-qualifying targeted healthcare executives and IT directors.

From February 2017 to May 2021, Rafael worked as a Project Manager at AbbaDox, responsible for managing cloud-based software projects for healthcare customers. Rafael ensured proper configuration and setup requirements for customers and maintained comprehensive project documentation. Rafael then advanced to the position of Senior Project Manager from May 2021 to October 2021, demonstrating their growing expertise in managing projects and delivering successful outcomes.

Throughout their career, Rafael has consistently demonstrated their strong project management skills and extensive knowledge of healthcare IT. Rafael has effectively coordinated activities, developed partnerships, and ensured successful project delivery.

Rafael De Leon, PMP has an Executive Certificate in Project Management from Florida Atlantic University - College of Business, which they obtained in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Florida International University between the years 2010 and 2014. Additionally, Rafael has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2019.
