Valery Leontyev

Valery Leontyev has a strong background in engineering, leadership, and software development. Valery currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at IDT Corporation, where they lead a team of managers in the Money Transfer business. Previously, Valery held the role of Director of Engineering at IDT Corporation, overseeing Scrum teams and establishing streamlined delivery processes.

Prior to their time at IDT, Valery worked at Texode, where they pioneered a new outsourcing software development business line as the CTO. Valery also served as the Head of Web Development Department, leading a team of up to 30 employees, and as a Team Lead, managing projects in web and mobile development.

Earlier in their career, Valery worked at Profigroup as a Lead Web Developer, where they developed web applications and supervised a small team. Valery began their career as a Freelance Web Developer, working on small-scale projects and developing desktop applications.

Throughout their career, Valery has demonstrated their expertise in engineering leadership, team management, and software development utilizing technologies such as PHP, MySQL, LAMP stack, Delphi, and C++ Builder.

Valery Leontyev obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Economy from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended the Minsk State College of Electronics from 2002 to 2006, studying Programming and Economy, but did not obtain a degree from this institution.
