Viktor Chalyi

Viktor Chalyi has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Viktor currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at IDT Corporation, where they oversee the work of multiple teams and recruits new talent. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager at the same company, where they also supervised teams and managed engineer performance.

Before joining IDT Corporation, Chalyi worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Andersen Lab, where they led a team of specialists and was responsible for project progress, problem-solving, and reporting to stakeholders. Viktor also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at INOSTUDIO, where they developed web systems, researched new technologies, and improved system performance.

Earlier in their career, Chalyi held the position of Senior Technical Team Lead at LLC "Itlook," where they managed a team and developed desktop and distributed systems. Viktor also worked as a Software Developer at the same company and at RN-UfaNIPIneft, where they gained experience in software development and database designing.

Viktor Chalyi obtained their Engineer's degree in Computer-aided design system from USATU between 2007 and 2012. Viktor has also completed additional certifications including "Master Go Programming" from Udemy, "Team management, business communication and negotiation course" from STRATOPLAN MANAGEMENT SCHOOL, and "AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials (Second Edition)" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the years 2020 and 2022.
