Mathew Harrington has more than 20 years of work experience in various industries. Mathew started their career as a Purchasing Assistant at BUPA Healthcare Professionals in 2001. From there, they worked as a Trainee Research Executive at Swift Research Ltd in 2003, followed by a role as a Branch Manager Trainee at Reeds Rains in 2004.
In 2005, Harrington joined United Utilities, where they held multiple roles including Strategy & Transformation, Learning & Development Commercial Projects, Energy & Contracting Services - Commercial Projects, Workforce Manager - Design & Delivery Lead, and Transformation Support Manager. Mathew eventually became a Business Development Manager - Energy, responsible for bidding and closing major deals in the energy market.
In 2010, Harrington joined Enterprise as the Head of Business Development - Metering & Energy Management. After three years, they moved to Amey where they served in various roles, including Head of Business Development - Metering and Energy Management, Investment Manager, and Commercial Director - Electric Vehicles Infrastructure. In these roles, they focused on managing projects, stakeholders, and investments within various sectors.
Harrington then joined Iduna and Be.EV in 2021 as a Business Delivery professional, where they continue to contribute their expertise.
In 2006, they briefly worked at "\"Sofiyska Voda\" AD" and supported the delivery of a water concession project in Sofia, Bulgaria.
