Dan Schoening

Dan Schoening is an experienced artist and animator with a diverse professional background in the comic and animation industries. Currently serving as an illustrator for IDW Publishing on "TMNT: Saturday Morning Adventures" since 2009, Dan has also contributed as a freelance animator and illustrator for DC Comics since 2006, creating web animations for DC Online and illustrations for DC Kids Books. Dan's previous roles include freelance artist at Cryptozoic Entertainment and concept artist at Bigshot Toyworks, along with various animation positions at Inlight Entertainment and Club Penguin. Academic credentials include a certificate in Animation from the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts. Proficient in software such as Flash, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, Dan is skilled in character design, storyboarding, and hand-drawn animation.
