Gordon Purcell

Gordon Purcell is a seasoned comic artist with extensive experience in the industry, currently working at Image Comics since April 2013 and IDW Publishing since 2006. With a career that spans from 1988 to the present, Gordon Purcell has illustrated for major companies including DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, and Topps, specializing in comic book illustration and licensed art. Additionally, Gordon Purcell has freelanced as a commercial artist since 1987 and served as a teacher in graphic design and art at Globe College from 2000 to 2001, along with guest lecturing on comic book art at the Minnesota College of Art and Design over the last two decades. Gordon Purcell holds a BFA in studio arts and theater from the University of Minnesota, completed between 1977 and 1983.
