Chip Prince has had over 30 years of experience playing piano and conducting Broadway shows and tours, including 22 years living in New York City. He served as Associate Conductor on the National Tour of Newsies and can be heard playing piano in the Broadway HD movie. Originally from New Hampshire, Chip attended Brigham Young University in Utah and music-directed shows at Sundance Summer Theatre in the 1980s. New York and National Tour keyboard and/or conducting credits include Les Misérables, Sunset Boulevard, Miss Saigon, Mary Poppins, Ragtime, The Fantasticks, Deaf West’s Big River, Baz Luhrmann’s La Bohème, and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. Other musical interests include choral singing, arranging, playing French horn and euphonium, and accompanying English, Scottish, and contra dance.
