Erica Roetman Sklar

Erica Roetman Sklar has been working in community development for over two decades. Erica started their career at the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, where they worked on environmental projects in developing countries. Erica then moved to the International Finance Corporation, where they worked on syndicated loans. In 2013, they became the Executive Director of Asian Neighborhood Design, a Bay Area organization that provides architectural and planning services, affordable housing, and job training for low-income residents. Under their leadership, the organization has successfully renovated over 1 million square feet of space and provided housing and job training for thousands of low-income residents.

Erica Roetman Sklar has a MCP from the University of Maryland in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning. Erica also has a BA from Whitman College in French. Erica also has Certificats de Langues from Knox College in Study Abroad Besancon and Université de Franche-Comté in French Literature.
