Vania Dobreva

Vania Dobreva is a trustee at Idyllwild Arts. Vania has also worked as a piano faculty member at the Holy Name Conservatory of Music, the Ecole Notre Dame des Victoires, and the Vania Dobreva Music Schools. In October 2007, they began working as a pianist for the San Francisco Ballet, where they worked with renowned ballet instructors Galina Alexandrova and Lupe Calzadilla. From September 2006 to June 2008, they served as an assistant at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Prior to their work at Idyllwild Arts, they taught applied piano lessons and class piano at the Idyllwild Arts Academy from September 1999 to September 2002.

Vania Dobreva has a Masters in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in Piano Performance, and a Bachelor's from the same school. Vania also has a Diploma from Idyllwild Arts Academy in Piano Performance. Vania began their musical education at the Bulgarian National Music School for Gifted Children.
