Abeer Sethia

Abeer Sethia is currently a Task Phase Member at Research Society MIT Manipal and a Working Committee Member at IECSE Manipal, both since February and December 2022 respectively. Abeer also serves as a Local Committee Member at IAESTE LC Manipal and as an Individual Contributor at Unsplash since November 2022 and February 2022. As Co-Founder of TheCandidSpeaker since July 2020, Abeer promotes new and bold ideas while highlighting underrated news. Previous experiences include roles as a Head Designer and Writer at TheCandidSpeaker, a Student Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology focusing on optogenetics, and a Social Media Coordinator and Designer for Project Arambha, a non-profit supporting girls' education. Abeer also interned at Aashman Foundation and contributed as a video editor for The Rekindled World. In June 2021, Abeer was selected as a speaker for TEDx Bangalore. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Data Science and Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology, educational background includes a High School Diploma from Delhi Public School and JEE MAINS coaching at ALLEN CAREER INSTITUTE.
