Steve Woods

Steve Woods has over 20 years of experience within the IEEE Computer Society, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Volunteer Engagement and Support and previously as Sr. Manager of Publication Technologies since August 2017. Woods has managed IT projects, supporting the digital library and operational efforts. Prior roles at the IEEE Computer Society included Sr. Manager of Creative Services, where Woods led an in-house design team for branding and marketing initiatives, and Magazine Editorial Manager, overseeing the publication of eight technical magazines. An earlier role as Lead Editor involved managing IEEE Internet Computing magazine. Steve Woods holds a BA in Political Science from UCLA and an associate's degree from Long Beach City College.
