Nicolas Barros

Nicolas Barros is an aspiring engineer currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas, expected to graduate in May 2025. Nicolas serves as an Engineering Intern at Proteus Motion, responsible for assembling and refurbishing components, soldering circuit boards, managing inventory, and calibrating software configurations. As a Field Artillery Fire Control Marine - Lance Corporal in the Marine Forces Reserve since August 2022, Nicolas contributes to precise artillery operations utilizing computer programs. Additional roles include Facilities Assistant at Cottonwood Creek Church and participation in the IEEE UT Dallas Student Branch, where collaboration led to the development of a voice-controlled car project. Previous experience includes positions at Lowe's and McDonald's.
