Aylin Yener

Aylin Yener is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of electrical and computer engineering, currently serving as the IEEE Division IX Director on the Board of Directors and as Editor in Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking. Holding the Roy and Lois Chope Chair Professorship at The Ohio State University, Aylin Yener has contributed significantly to the academic community as a professor in multiple disciplines, including electrical engineering and integrated systems engineering. Previous leadership roles include President and Vice President of the IEEE Information Theory Society and distinguished professor at Penn State University. Aylin Yener's academic background includes a PhD and MS from Rutgers School of Engineering, as well as dual BS degrees in Physics and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
