Celestine Iwendi

Celestine Iwendi, PhD, SMIEEE, FHEA, FIMC, CMC, serves as an IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Lecturer and Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Greater Manchester, while also holding the position of Head of the Centre of Intelligence of Things at the University of Bolton. With a strong background in academia, Celestine has contributed to teaching and curriculum development in artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as providing leadership on various academic programs. Additional roles include serving as an External Examiner for the MSc Business Analytics course at Robert Gordon University and Adjunct Professor at VIT Vellore Institute of Technology and Woxsen University. Celestine is an accomplished member of IEEE, possessing the title of Senior Member and acting as a Brand Ambassador. Editorial responsibilities include serving as an Associate Editor for the journal Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences. Celestine's educational background includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Aberdeen and two master's degrees from Uppsala University and Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
