Hassan Ghoudjehbaklou, PhD, serves as a Principal Engineer at San Diego Gas & Electric since August 2010 and is actively involved as the IEEE Power & Energy Society Chapter Chair from January 2015. Between March 2016 and June 2017, Hassan Ghoudjehbaklou held the position of Visiting Professor at the University of California San Diego & Extension. Prior experience includes serving as Manager of Power System Development at Open Systems International from August 2001 to July 2010 and as Assistant Professor and Power System Group Chair at Isfahan University of Technology from August 1987 to July 2001. In addition, a Visiting Professor role was undertaken at the University of Toronto in 1995-1996. Academically, Hassan Ghoudjehbaklou earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical & Computer Engineering with a focus on Power Systems & Control Systems, as well as a Master of Science in Information & Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Tehran.
