Mei Lin Fung

Mei Lin Fung is a prominent leader in technology and social impact, currently serving as the Chair of the Technical Committee on Sustainability and the Chair of the Assessment Committee for the Humanitarian Activities Committee at IEEE since January 2020. As the Co-founder and Chair of People Centered Internet since 2015, Fung advocates for the strategic integration of digital technologies to enhance health and education. Further contributions include co-founding Impact Network, where community voices are central to social impact investing, and participation as Co-Chair at the UN Commission on the Status of Women, focusing on innovation and education in the digital era. Fung holds a Master's in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and dual Bachelor's degrees in Pure Mathematics with honors from The Australian National University.
