Yong-Hang Zhang

Yong-Hang Zhang is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering and physics. Currently serving as a Fellow at both IEEE and The Optical Society of America since 2014, Yong-Hang Zhang also holds the position of Director at the Center for Photonics Innovation at Arizona State University, where involvement has spanned from 2006 to the present. As a Professor at the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering since 1996, Yong-Hang Zhang has contributed significantly to the academic community, also leading the MBE Optoelectronics Group. Previous roles include Associate Dean for Research, Fulton Entrepreneurial Professor, and Postdoctoral Fellow at HRL Laboratories, as well as an Assistant Research Engineer at UC Santa Barbara. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Nanjing Normal University, a Master's degree in Semiconductor Device Physics from the Institute of Semiconductors, a PhD in Physics from the University of Stuttgart, and postdoctoral studies at UC Santa Barbara.
