Elba Duque Hicks

Elba Duque Hicks, PE, is an experienced Structural Project Engineer currently with IEG Innovative Engineering Group since April 2024. Previously, Elba served as a Structural Project Manager at H2B Engineers from January 2015 to February 2024 and undertook a Structural Intern role there in 2014, where responsibilities included designing and analyzing structural components using STAAD software. Elba also contributed to Texas A&M University as a TA for Civil Engineering Mechanics courses, assisting students in Statics, Dynamics, and Mechanics of Materials. Elba holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with a high school diploma from Galena Park High School.
