Ty Oehrtman

Ty Oehrtman is an experienced health education professional currently serving as a Health Education Evaluation Analyst and formerly as a Health Educator II at IEHP since March 2020. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Health Education Consultant at the Washington State Department of Health from September 2015 to March 2020 and Board President for the American School Health Association between January 2018 and December 2019. Ty's background also features roles such as Outreach Manager at Rutgers University, Data & Evaluation Analyst and Resource Development Manager at the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, Coordinated School Health Manager at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, and Health Promotion Coordinator at the American Cancer Society. Ty holds a Master of Science in Training & Instructional Design from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Health with a focus on Community Health from Ohio University.
