António Caria

António Caria has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in Portugal. In 2003, they began their career as a Member of the Board at Cabo Tv Açoreana, SA. From 2006 to 2009, they held various roles at PT Compras and PT Contact, including President. In 2008, they also served as a Member of the Board at Portugal Telecom Inovação, SA. From 2006 to 2014, they worked at Portugal Telecom, first as a Member of the Executive Committee and then as an Advisor to the CEO. During this time, they also served as President of PT Compras and PT Contact. At IEP - Instituto Electrotécnico Português, they held the position of Vice President from 2014 to 2015. António then joined SIRESP, SA in 2017 as Chief Operating Officer and later became a Non-Executive Board Member until 2019. In 2018, they also became Vice President at IEP - Instituto Electrotécnico Português. Most recently, in 2019, they took on multiple roles at Altice Portugal, including Board Member of PT Data Center, Advisor to the Board, and Consultant to Fundação Altice.

António Caria obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) equivalent degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 1975. António later pursued post-graduate studies in Business Administration and Management at ISCTE Business School in 1989 and Nova School of Business and Economics in 1994.
