Senior Mechanical Engineer at IEP Technologies

Chris Cote has a diverse work experience starting in 2000. Chris began as a Junior Mechanical Designer at Dynex Rivett Corporation and later worked at Adcole Corporation in the same role. In 2004, Chris worked at Robert Reiser & Co. Inc as a Junior Mechanical Designer/Assembler (R&D) for a college co-op program. In 2005, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Cambridgeport Air Systems.

Chris then transitioned to Textron Defense Systems in 2007, where they held multiple roles including Systems Engineer and Packaging Engineer. As a Systems Engineer, they provided support in logistics and system safety. In this role, they also developed and maintained a Logistics Management Database. As a Packaging Engineer, they provided shipping instructions for hazardous materials.

In 2011, Chris joined Kidde-Fenwal, a UTC Fire & Security Company, as a Mechanical Engineer. Here, they applied engineering principles to design, analyze, and evaluate mechanical parts and systems. Chris also conducted product testing and performed root cause analysis.

Since 2013, Chris has been working at IEP Technologies, LLC. Initially, they were a Mechanical Engineer and assisted in the layout of a new factory and the relocation of a manufacturing cell. Later, they became a Senior Mechanical Engineer and expanded their job function to include Process Engineering tasks.

From 2001 to 2005, Chris Cote attended Wentworth Institute of Technology, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering Tech, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science degree.
