Daniel Glenn served in the United States military for 10 years, studying international relations at the United States Naval Academy before earning a Master’s degree in Government from the University of Maryland. As a Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (Special Operations) Officer, Daniel deployed twice in two major campaigns, leading teams called upon to defuse IEDs, dive in search of underwater explosives, and dismantle chemical weapons. Daniel founded two philanthropic efforts in his spare time, and once broke a Guinness World Record for running a mile in an 80-lb bomb suit in 8 minutes and 30 seconds. Following his military career, he became a Schwarzman Scholar, earning a Master’s degree in Management at Tsinghua University in Beijing before moving to Silicon Valley as a CEO of a private wealth asset management firm. He now advises early stage startups and private wealth clients in their investments, passion projects, and philanthropic endeavors.
