Amy Ruhter McMillan

Amy Ruhter McMillan is the Senior Associate Vice President of Marketing at IES Abroad where she has worked since 1998.

As head of the Marketing Department, Amy feels lucky to put her passion for studying abroad to work every day, making sure IES Abroad is authentically and cleverly showcasing everything the organization and international education have to offer. She never grows tired of evangelizing all the extraordinary things that happen because of travel. Since 2008, the Marketing Department has won more than 65 marketing-related awards for IES Abroad’s Study Abroad Film Festival, print materials, and your world [redefined] campaign, to name a few.

Amy has a degree in English and Writing, and a minor in Spanish from Valparaiso University in Indiana where she studied abroad for a semester in Cambridge, England. She also attended Hong Kong International School for grades 5-12.
