Pamela Sarmiento

Pamela Sarmiento has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Pamela began their career at iFactum - Highweb & Page Group Inc. as a Human Resources Director, Project Manager, Content Manager, and Office Assistant. In 2014, they took on a TA (Practicum Student) role at Lancaster Public School. Pamela then worked as a BRG Program Facilitator (Practicum Student) and Community Counselor at Elizabeth Fry Society of Peel-Halton in 2015. In 2016, Pamela worked as a Program Teacher at YMCA of Oakville and a Summer Camp Advisor at Club Kodiak.

Pamela Sarmiento attended St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School from 2006 to 2010, graduating with a High School diploma. Pamela then went on to Sheridan College, where they completed an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Worker in 2016. Pamela also obtained a Certificate in Criminal Psychology and Behaviour from Sheridan College in 2020. In 2018, Pamela Sarmiento began their Bachelor's Degree in Child and Youth Care (Direct Entry) and Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University, which they completed in 2020. Finally, they are currently studying for a Master of Science in Psychology at the University of Glasgow, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition, Pamela Sarmiento has obtained two certifications: Principles of Healthy Child Development from HIGH FIVE Canada in 2016, and ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training from LivingWorks in 2020.
