Aurore Morin

Growing up around animals and fascinated by wildlife, it became at an early age very clear for Aurore that she had to dedicate her life’s work to protect them.

She undertook law studies to learn about the existing mechanisms around the conservation of nature and animals and focused her master’s final thesis on the legal challenges of animal welfare.

Aurore then pursued a place in the animal conservation’s NGOs world and started as a wildlife campaigner at IFAW. After working to push for a European ivory ban, she is now a marine campaigner focused on reducing anthropogenic underwater ocean noise to protect marine mammals. She collaborates and develops strategic relationships with governments, national agencies and industries to support IFAW’s work in wildlife conservation. She is also part of IFAW’s International Policy team to consolidate IFAW’s expertise at major international forums to protect animals and their habitats such as the IUCN, the IWC and CITES.

Aurore has a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from La Sorbonne University, Paris (France).
