Sameer Goel

Sameer Goel holds extensive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at the International Fertilizer Development Center since October 2023, Sameer previously acted as Managing Director at Coromandel International Limited from October 2015 to January 2023, overseeing a $2 billion business operating in over 60 countries. Prior to that, Sameer was the Country Head for Cipla Ltd. in India, managing a pharmaceutical business with a turnover of $750 million. Sameer's tenure at GlaxoSmithKline spanned over a decade, where responsibilities included Vice President & GM for Africa and various GM roles focusing on consumer businesses across the African region and the Indian subcontinent. Sameer holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
