David Winkler has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. David began their career in 1994 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. In 1999, they joined Celltech R&D as a Scientist and was a leader in an effort to assess and establish function for a novel protein, sclerostin. In 2004, they moved to Wyeth as a Principal Scientist. In 2009, they joined Pfizer as a Principal Scientist in the Rheumatoid Arthritis and inflammation signaling groups. In 2011, they moved to Infinity Pharmaceuticals as a Research Director and Associate Research Director. In 2016, they joined IFM Therapeutics as an Executive Director of Biology, Senior Director of Immunology, and Director of Immunology.
David Winkler has a long history of education. From 1984 to 1988, they attended Reed College, where they earned a BA in biology. David then attended Harvard University from 1988 to 1994, where they earned a PhD in Cell Biology and Biochemistry. During the same time period, they also attended Harvard Medical School and earned a PhD in Biochemistry.
