David Suter

David Suter, CCM, CFM, has extensive experience in facility management and leadership roles. Since October 1998, David has served as President and Senior Vice President/Owner of Consolidated Building Systems, Inc. (CBSI). David has also been actively involved with the IFMA San Diego Chapter since April 2009, including serving as Past President during the 2014-2015 term and holding roles such as 2nd Vice President and World Workplace Committee Chair in subsequent years. Previously, David worked as Acting Facility Manager at Cuyamaca College from March 1999 to December 2008, facilitating communication between college administration and a construction program management firm on a significant bond measure project. Earlier experience includes a position as Facilities Manager at CCN from 1991 to 1998, overseeing operations for a 133,000 sq. ft. facility. David's educational background includes studies at Grossmont College and San Diego Mesa College, along with graduation from Point Loma High.
