Sarah Bastgen

Sarah Bastgen is a seasoned professional in political science and strategic communications with extensive experience in consulting and project management. Since April 2016, Sarah has served as a Senior Consultant at ifok GmbH, following a role as a Consultant. Previously, Sarah was the Head of Politics and Society at Initiative ProDialog, where responsibilities included project management, press and public relations, coordination of empirical studies, and advisory roles for civil society actors. Sarah also has a background as a Research Assistant, focusing on organizing events, public relations, and publishing expert materials. Earlier experience includes editorial work at the Zeitschrift für Politikberatung, where Sarah reviewed articles related to strategic policy and organizational consulting. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin and a Diplom in Social Sciences from the University of Mannheim.
