Laurent Delauney has extensive experience in research and development focused on autonomous in situ measuring systems, currently serving as the JERICO-S3 and JERICO Design Study EU coordinator and Project Manager at IFREMER since 1993. Delauney has held leadership roles, including Head of the Detection, Sensors, and In Situ Measurements Group, overseeing the development of measurement systems, sensor metrology, biofouling protection, and quality assurance for accredited laboratories. Previous positions include work at ENSSAT and Ralston Energy System, with an educational background encompassing engineering in computing and electronic sciences from the National School of Applied Science and Technology, a Master of Physics from the University of Plymouth, and a Diplome Universitaire de Technologie in Physics and Chemistry.
