Amanda Connell currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Founder at IFS Institute, a position held since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Ryerson University as a Teaching Assistant, where assistance was provided to Professor Jean Golden in the Department of Sociology, and as a Research Assistant & Translator for Dr. Miriam Anderson in the Politics Department. Amanda's involvement in academia began with a passion for social justice, leading to a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Ryerson University. Additional experience includes working as a freelance writer, copywriter at WRG Studios, and assisting the Creative Director at Bustle Clothing, among other roles in the creative and non-profit sectors. Amanda's background blends a strong commitment to women's rights, environmental studies, and community engagement through various volunteer opportunities.
