Mike Barry

Mike Barry serves as the Northeast Regional Safety Manager at Dana Transport Inc, a position held since July 2024. Barry has extensive experience in hazardous materials and emergency response, including roles as an Adjunct Instructor at Leidos and as a Hazmat Specialist for the Mass Task Force since 2007. Additional contributions include involvement with IFSTA as a committee member for hazardous materials program validation and numerous instructional roles at the DFS/MA Fire Academy. As owner of Barry Diving Service since 1998, Barry specializes in underwater recovery and pool liner repairs. Barry's background also includes significant service with the Berlin Police Department as an EMT-T and firearms instructor, while previously holding the position of Statewide Hazmat Response Coordinator at NH State Fire Marshal's Office. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Columbia Southern University and an Associate's Degree in Fire Science from Quinsigamond Community College.
