Michael Stephan

Michael Stephan has extensive experience in the business world. Michael began their career in 2000 as General Counsel and Head of Business Development at Holtzbrinck Ventures, the Corporate Venture Capital Entity of the Verlagsgruppe Holtzbrinck. In 2005, they co-founded Helpster GmbH, Germany's first social network focused on health and rating of doctors. In 2007, they joined Mwb Fairtrade Wertpapierhandelsbank AG as Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets. In 2009, they co-founded cooledeals GmbH, and in 2011 they became Vice President at PAYBACK/Loyalty Partner/American Express. In 2013, they became CEO of Aladoo/Emesa Germany, and in 2014 they became CEO of WhiteWall/Managing Director of Avenso GmbH. In 2015, they founded iFunded, a market place for global online real estate investments for institutional and private investors leveraging the power of the crowd and technology. In 2016, they founded iEstate, and in 2021 they became Managing Director/Geschäftsführer of real PACE.

Michael Stephan attended the Freie Universität Berlin from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained their I+II State Exam in Law. Michael then attended the University of Cologne from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained their 1st and 2nd State Exam in Law. Michael also holds a Media Manager certification from Steinbeiss Hochschule.
