Victoria Balaban

Victoria Balaban is currently the Head of Marketing Spain at IG, where they are responsible for defining and implementing the strategic marketing plan for IG in Spain. Prior to joining IG, Victoria worked as the Global Marketing Director at Branding Up, a marketing and brand design agency. In this role, they were responsible for the P&L, strategic plan development and implementation, and driving growth. Before that, they served as the Country Manager at Heca Group S.A, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the Argentine office and improved the company's cash flow. Victoria also has experience at Banco Santander as the Governance IT Manager, overseeing the governance model worldwide and managing a budget of 200 million euros. Victoria began their career at HSBC Banking as the Investment Product Marketing Manager Jr, where they designed marketing campaigns and increased market share.

Victoria Balaban has a diverse education history. Victoria holds a Master in Business Administration (IMBA) from IE Business School. Victoria also participated in various executive education programs, including the Wharton Executive Education program, where they studied the "FinTech Revolution" field of study. Additionally, they attended Copenhagen Business School, where they focused on "Digital Transformation in the Financial Service" and "Innovation Strategy: Developing Your Fintech strategy." Victoria also completed an online program in "Digital Media and Marketing Strategies" from the University of Illinois. Victoria obtained a degree in "Business Administration" from Universidad de Belgrano. In terms of certifications, Victoria obtained a certification in "Know Your Customer - Customer Due Diligence" from ACAMS. Furthermore, they hold additional certifications in "Organic social media" from CXL and "Fintech Revolution: Transformative Financial Services and Strategies" from Emeritus.
