Sarah Rivers has a diverse work experience in digital marketing and program development. Sarah started their career as a Co-Owner at Rivers Appraisal Group, Inc. from April 2007 to May 2010. Sarah then worked as a Retail Advertising and Digital Marketing Representative at Unified Grocers from June 2010 to December 2014. From January 2015 to March 2019, they served as a Digital Marketing Specialist at UNFI, where they focused on sales, implementation, and project management of digital marketing products for independent retail stores. From March 2019 to May 2020, they worked as a Digital Marketing Manager at IGA, Inc., overseeing all digital marketing activities for the independent grocery alliance. Their most recent position is as the Director of Digital and eCommerce Programs at IGA, Inc., starting in January 2021.

Sarah Rivers has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business. Sarah also pursued a degree in Business Administration - Marketing with a minor in Journalism from the same university. Additionally, they obtained a CEPE Digital Marketing Certificate from Portland State University. Sarah has also earned certifications in Google AdWords from Google and Digital Marketing Strategies from Portland State University's Center for Executive and Professional Education (CEPE).
