Jan Schulte Zur Heide

Jan Schulte zur Heide is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of patent expertise and technology management. Since June 2019, Jan has served as a Patentexperte at the Eidgenössisches Institut für Geistiges Eigentum. Prior to this role, Jan held various positions at Airex Composites Structures, including Technischer Leiter and Chief Technology Officer from October 2016 to June 2019, and held multiple roles from Head of Commercial Vehicles to Sales Engineer between January 2010 and September 2016. Jan's earlier experience includes Project Manager/Product Manager and Research & Development Engineer at Alcan Composite Structures and a ten-year tenure at the Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung at RWTH Aachen as a Wissenschaftlicher Assistent. Jan holds a Dr. Ing. in Maschinenbau with a specialization in Kunststofftechnik from the Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung at RWTH Aachen, as well as a Dipl.-Ing. in Maschinenbau from RWTH Aachen University.
