Mihail Leontescu

Mihail Leontescu is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in application operations management and network engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Application Operations Management at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property since September 2014, Mihail oversees business-critical services, ensures SLA compliance, and manages technical rollouts and application monitoring. Previously at T-Systems Schweiz, Mihail specialized in operating applications and web services, implementing ITILv3 processes, and conducting system security and load tests. During a tenure at Siemens Communications and Media Technologies, Mihail took on roles including Solutions Manager and IT Integrator, leading technical support efforts and managing an international team. Early career experience includes network and systems engineering roles at Romania Data Systems and Deuromedia. Mihail holds a degree in IT from Grigore Moisil Informatics College.
